What is life without celebrations? We should celebrate more often, not only the big moments but the little moments.

"There are exactly as many special occasions in life as we choose to celebrate." - Robert Brault

Last weekend I celebrated a deservingly fitting occasion that called for a celebration - my 1 year wedding anniversary. A year ago I wed my partner of 10 years. It took us long enough to walk down the aisle but we got there. We held the wedding on the beautiful grounds of Villa Catignano in Tuscany, Italy. It was a union of two souls, two cultures and two families. We merged Vietnamese/Buddhist and Irish/Catholic traditions together to create a unique ceremony. To describe this day in words would not do it justice. As the saying goes, photos tell a thousands words.

Below are some highlight photos from the day.

All the photo credits go to our most talented wedding photographer Tim Millen from This Modern Love. He captured our wedding day perfectly with immense poise and skill. His amazing talent even got our wedding featured on Junebug and you can see more of his work here.

Here's to more celebrations in life.
