This hidden treasure is like an urban jungle tucked away on the top floor of the Barbican. I have to give credit to a fellow instagrammer kimberlyannerogers for giving me the tip about this little gem. It is the second biggest conservatory in London. It's a great place to spend an hour before an exhibition (I had an hour to spare before the Digital Revolution exhibition) looking at all the exotic plants they have on show. You will also find tropical fish and a room dedicated to cactuses. It is like being in the tropics so expect to feel sweaty and hot.

It is only open on certain Sundays, 11am - 5pm. Check the Barbican Conservatory website for exact opening dates.
